Calculus II is one of my top subjects!

I try to teach my students how to derive advanced formulas and results from basic ideas, instead of relying on rote memorization. According to my experience, students who memorize math results without understanding, do not actually retain information; the kind of learning that I offer is much more permanent.
I hold a Ph.D. in mathematics and a master in physics. I have been Assistant Professor at Columbia for the past four years. I have taught calculus 1 through 4 and Analysis 1/2 many times.
