Throughout all of my academic career, I have never been paid for helping other students-my friends-with their homework. Yet, I have still done it when they asked. In high school, I usually helped the struggling athletes, even though I too was an athlete; this continued in college. In sophomore year of college, I was the peer teacher in Stephens Success class, where I helped students with various issues. In speaking of Academics/Subjects I have personally not gotten below a A- since I was in second grade and can tutor in a variety of subjects including English, Math, Biology, and Chemistry. In the summer of 2008, I also taught autistic children. I understand that all children can learn, but they also learn at different paces, in different ways, and at different times of the day.
