My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : I have taken two creative writing courses in addition to my elementary courses.

I have tutored in both Robeson County and Cumberland County for a total of six years. I tutored students in math, reading and science from grades Kindergarten to sixth grade. We also prepared students in grades three through six for the End of the Year test. We taught test taking strategies as well. In addition, I have tutored students that attend college in American Government and World History. I also, tutored in GA for three years. There I tutored various age groups in writing, reading, math, test strategies, and Microsoft Office. My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : Creative writing is one of my favorite subjects to tutor because it allows the student to implement their own style to their work. I help my students explore their interests when they are completing their creative writing. Each one of the students that I tutor will experience this too.

I have been working with children for the past seven years. Four of those years have included homeschooling pre-school and pre-kindergarten as well as homework help and tutoring the children that I was babysitting. I love tutoring because it allows me to work one-on-one with my students. Tutoring, also, allows me the opportunity to create the ultimate tutoring experience based off of the students learning style and interest. The students that I conducted homework help and tutoring with were within grades 2nd through 6th. I conducted my Student Teaching in a first grade classroom and loved every minute of it.

A Little Bit About Me...

It is very important to let children know that there is no wrong or right way of doing their work, as long as it is done correctly. They also need to know that their methods are their own. Children needs reassurance. When A childs' work is not done to one's full potential, it is not my strategy to make them feel like less of a child. It is however, my strategy to work with that child until he/she understands WHY the work was not done correctly, and then let him/her correct the work themself.
