Pre-Algebra is one of my top subjects!

I don't know if you could say that I have a "style" but I am all about seeing what they know first and giving them hints here and there so that they come to the understanding on their own and if it is needed I can show them how to do it and help them replicate it.
I have a love for learning and helping others learn. I am currently in college to become an Elementary School teacher and I have really emphasized on math. I took honors math classes all through high school and I have enjoyed being able to study math and help others understand as well. I also have a love for piano. I am well studied in the classics and am willing to teach modern techniques as well.

Pre-Algebra is one of my top subjects!

I have excelled in Math as far as I can remember, I have a couple of years of College completed and am currently getting back into school this summer/fall. I've never received below a B in a math class during high school, and never below an A in college. Math 102/1020 is the highest Math class I have taken.
I prefer small groups or One-on-One to be able to give my full attention to the student.

I have been tutoring since I was in high school. I have helped both my friends and fellow classmates with questions that they have had in Mathematics. I love teaching kids. All kids can are different in the way they learn. you need to be able to recognize those kids who are auditory learners, and hands on learners and be able to make a good balance of both so both kids may benefit. I like to set goals for each tutor session weather it be something like learning the alphabet or knowing you first ten multiplication facts. You then need to set one long term goal for that child to reach. this way each day they feel as if they have succeeded and learned something.
