My comments on tutoring Elementary Math : Highly Qualified teacher in Alabama school system.

I am a certified teacher for the Phenix City, Alabama school system. I have 4 years of teaching experience. I have 2 years experience in tutoring. I interned at Lakewood Elementary School in Phenix City, Alabama for first grade and fifth grade. I was then hired on as a second grade teacher upon the conclusion of my internship requirements. I have had experience with tutoring through our school's after school enrichment program, as well as outside/ individual tutoring.
I am a hands-on teacher. I like to teach a skill, show examples of the skill, allow the student to practice the skill with my assistance, and then try the skill independantly.

Elementary Math is one of my top subjects! Math is one of my many passions. I love problem solving and recognizing patterns. I can break down complicated problems to where they are easier to understand. I am also minoring in math at school.

I graduated high school in 2013 and became a student at Adams State University in the fall of 2013. I then moved to Georgia and I am currently working through my application process to Columbus State University. I did a lot of volunteer work during high school and was involved in many things, ranging from two years in ROTC to becoming a Student Ambassador for the "People to People" program.
