As a Siena College graduate I developed a very hands on approach to active learning. Through classroom lecture and instruction I've completed the necessary coursework to complete my BS of biology. While I am not a teacher by profession, I spent much time in the academic support center at SUNY Cobleskill as a freshman tutoring students in different kinds of math. (ie: algebra,fractions, etc) and occasionally in english and science. I also had to lead several class discussions at grad school at times, teaching the readings or materials for that week.
