My comments on tutoring Hearing Impaired : I have a BA in American Sign Language and still use ASL to this day to communicate with friends.

I have been working with Elementary children for over 10 years now. I have helped all ages with homework, sports, and life skills (current job now as EC TA). I also have been coaching for the past five years in cheerleading and soccer, but in different age groups. I have been in the school system for the past year in a half and have worked on phonics, math, science, and life and social skills with AU students.
I like to get on the child's level and teach that way. I like to ask the children what their best way is to learn and what are some of their favorite things are so I can incorporate them into the lesson.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am finishing my final requirements, and will be completing my undergraduate career with a BS in Elementary Education, second course of study in Sociology this December. I have experience instructing children from ages 3-16 in different subject areas. I have experience working as a Sunday school and vacation bible school teacher, an arts and crafts teacher and an overall after school tutor.
