I enjoy tutoring Math because I feel comfortable in giving students an alternate way of understanding the subject outside of their textbook and teacher. I like to introduce to the student alternate ways of “thinking”. Introducing applications of where math is needed or helpful I believe always helps the student learn. When working on Reading skills I often use high interest topics such as the arts, sports, computers and science to encourage students to excel.
