I will gauge your playing level after playing some games with you. From there you will learn tactics, openings, general positional strategy, endgame technique, and etiquette appropriate to your level.
I have taught children and adults chess since 2005. I've done lectures as well as private lessons. I am currently the 1st Board and Captain of the University of Pittsburgh Chess Team. A Little Bit About Me...

I have a very unique teaching style in that I like to incorporate many different presentation methods and I am a firm believer of teaching to multiple intelligences. No two students learn the same way and if the student is not learning the teacher is just as responsible as the student.
