Taught History and Latin at the high school level from 1984 through 1989. During 1988 and 1989 taught high school Honors classes while attending law school at night. Tutored high school students in Latin and Math while attending Gymnasium in Germany from 1976-1978. Concluded an intensive Polish immersion language program from 1980-1982 concluding with a Certificate of Competency in Polish qualifying for study in Poland.
Learning, in my experience, is best done in an environment with a minimum of anxiety and performance stress. I have been a high school teacher of Latin and ancient Greek, for three school years, and I spent an additional school year as a high school librarian and study skills course teacher. I also have a year of college Latin instruction experience, and a year as a TA for an ancient history professor.
