When working with children of all ages I believe instruction should be non intimidating, exciting and rewarding! That often means using non traditional methods and materials for learning. I will create lessons based on the child's needs, ability, and interest. It is important to incorporate the educational requirements and teach the child ways of coping with the many demands of the classroom. I pride myself in creating a comfortable atmosphere where the child builds self confidence and feels the power of success.
I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education, but my experience has reached beyond that to help children with behavioral and mental health issues. I love working with individuals and meeting their individual needs.
