I have more than 29 years in the computer industry with fortune 100 companies using various types of computer software. I have provided group and one-on-one training for vendor applications, computer coding, and office based software. My experience is inclusive of training in the use of databases, such as, Microsoft Access. My teaching style varies depending on the age and needs of the student. When I worked with younger children, I often made up a game to help the children learn the material while having fun. Even with older children I tried to make learning interactive and suit their personality. I also varied the amount and type of aid given based on the student’s needs. While I do think learning should be suited to the individual, I do require that the student focus entirely on studying during the tutoring session. I truly enjoy teaching and learning, and I have high expectations for the student's progress.

I worked in the Public Relations Office as a News Writer, doing research and writing news releases for upcoming events. Post graduation, I’ve edited a book manuscript for the author, Normandi Ellis.
