My teaching style depends on the student I am working with. Teaching is about working with the student in the way that works best for them. I hold my students to high expectations that I know they are capable of reaching. I think it is important for students to identify their goals to help them determine their educational path.
I have been teaching and tutoring for many years. I have tutoring experience for students in grades 1,2,3,and 5. I have teaching experience in Special Education and Elementary Education in grades K,1,2,4, and 5. I began my career as a teacher's assistant. I taught second grade for 2 years. I currently teach 5th grade. My student teaching was completed at all grade levels with a concentration in k-2 and 4-5.
