My comments on tutoring Pre-Calculus : We have both online and Austin area in-home tutors for math. Each has either a science degree that involved math up to Calculus or higher, or a math Degree. I graduated from UT Austin with a BS physics and BA mathematics. I still study both subjects independently to be ready for graduate school. I have held a job in both IT and Engineering where I have used my skills to mentor others on these topics. I have spoken spanish since I started speaking and CLEP'd out of Spanish IV at UT Austin with an A to meet the language requirements. I have been playing guitar since 1987. I used to play in a band from 1991 - 1995 and learned to read and write music from when I played the alto saxophone in H.S. marching band.
I have taught problem solving to many friends and family. I like to explain the foundations of what they're trying to learn and most importantly explain to them why they're learning it.
