The past two years I have been teaching Freshman Composition at Florida Atlantic University. I was required to teach critical thinking skills, writing, grammar, and reading. Previously, I taught 10th grade English (regular and honors) at Cypress Bay High School in Weston, FL. Before teaching high school I was a middle school Language Arts teacher (7th and 8th grade). With both my jobs in Broward County, I was required to work with my students on reading, writing, and grammatical skills.
