My comments on tutoring Vocals : Although I have not had a lot of individual vocal instruction, I have taken part in many musicals and was in my choir and show choir throughout high school. I also studied music education and musical theatre for a bit in college.

I absolutely love performing and any aspect of theatre. I love learning and growing in my theatre knowledge and experiences. I have been performing in some way my whole world and love to share my passion with others. I also love English and Shakespeare; obviously these both go hand in hand with theatre!
I do not have a definitive teaching style. When teaching someone, I usually try to adapt to their learning style, and if they do not have a strategy that works, I help them develop a good learning style and get comfortable with it. I like to think I make learning difficult things more fun and approachable.

My very first teaching experience happened during graduate school, as a second grade teacher. Here, I learned how to implement lesson plans according to state guidelines as well as student's focus. After completing grad school, I was a pre-k teacher for 2 years. I learned how to really teach through play, while considering the children developmental appropriate age. Currently, I work at a prestigious private school as a aftercare teacher for pre-k and kindergartens. I also substitute all grades at Wellington Private School.
