I have worked with children for 30 years. I understand the elementary level reading progam having subbed for teachers, teaching assistants and reading teachers for 2 years. I taught pre-reading skills to 3 year old children for 8 years in a local preschool. I am 3/4 of the way through my Teaching Assistant Certification. I received a technology degree in 1975. Several years later I returned to college to persue a Physics/Mechanical Engineering Degree from SUNY New Paltz and RPI. I was an "A" student in Physics and enjoyed tutoring many classmates. I was a guest lecturer several times at RPI. Due to work and family commitments I did not complete the degree.
