A Little Bit About Me...

For as long as I can remember I have always loved to teach. I enjoy helping others learn new material as well as gain from them ways to cope with different learning styles and comprehension levels. I have experience with all age groups from 6-7 yrs to 18+ yrs. I exercise patience and understanding as I have learned that everyone's learning style is unique. I have a BS in Business Administration and achieved my degree over the period of nine years while working and raising my family. In addition, I have volunteered as a Sunday School teacher over a thirty year period, teaching ages 2-12 years old. I have been a high school teacher of Latin and ancient Greek, for three school years, and I spent an additional school year as a high school librarian and study skills course teacher. I also have a year of college Latin instruction experience, and a year as a TA for an ancient history professor. Over the years, I have had at least three permanent clients as a tutor, working with ancient Greek, Latin, and German, and I have done other ad hoc tutoring and professional translation work.
