With that goal, I traveled to Paraguay where I taught English and learned Spanish myself. I further cemented my understanding of Spanish by studying abroad in Spain for a year, and later earning my Bachelor of Arts from UCONN in Spanish.

Following my graduation from the University of Connecticut I pursued a career in the insurance industry but have also spent time working as a youth group leader and worked as a part-time tutor for several years.
