A Little Bit About Me...

I have a variety of experience in multiple disciplines within natural science and am currently a Geology MSc candidate at the University of New Brunswick and will be defending my thesis in Summer of 2010. For the past two years I have had a large exposure to both field and lab work surrounding Fe-Mn Deposits and worked as a teaching assistant. Since November of 2008, I have authored five published abstracts and extended abstracts for both Canadian and American conferences and served as a technical program editor for the International Applied Geochemistry Symposium in 2009. I am also currently working on two full length publications on stratigraphy and geochemistry of my MSc. project.

All of my teaching experience in chemistry comes from my teaching General Chemistry Labs while pursuing Graduate Studies. This experience relates to my issuing pre-lab lectures prior to lab starting and this basically was designed to summarize the lab and work through example problems or demonstrations.

A Little Bit About Me...

Working with people, particularly children, has always been a passion of mine. Through the psychology program at Husson College I was able to gain a better understanding of human interaction, interpersonal relationships, as well as to obtain further insight on the foundation of the cognitive wiring in which we all possess. I also have a 6 year old daughter, who I have found to be the key to my drive in watching all children achieve academic success.
