I received my MA in Statistics from the University of Pittsburgh in December of 2008. Since then I have been giving private lessons in statistics to undergraduate and graduate students. I also have given lessons in high school level algebra. Prior to going to graduate school I was a substitute mathematics instructor at Wilkinsburg High School. Prior to working at Wilkinsburg, I was the Apangea Learning Math Instructor for Penn Hills High School. While at Penn Hills High School I worked with students in subjects from basic math to college prep calculus and test preparation for entrance exams. I also have experience working with teenagers at three different summer camps, one of these camps being the Penn Hills YMCA. I am also a professional musician and a statistical consultant.

I firmly believe that a child can do anything. Given just a little direction they can accomplish anything they set their sights on. My job is simply to help them see everything that they can potentially do, then help them accomplish their goals.
Since graduation, I have been substitute teaching in the county I graduated from. I have gotten phone calls from many of the same teachers, and received no negative feedback from any.
