After graduating from Arcadia University, I started my education career as a preschool assistant. After that, I landed a position as a one-to-one aide for a special needs student for my school district. It gave my experience in working in the special education field, using manipulatives to improve his reading, writing and math skills. A Little Bit About Me...

I have two summers worth of experience as a tour guide for the Island Beach State Park nature center and for the Sedge Island Natural Resource Education Center. During my time there, I have developed educational programs as well as led tours through various aspects of the natural history in the one of a kind ecology of the barrier island. I have experience in teaching kids as young as elementary school to adults. I have also done research on diamondback terrapins in Barnegat Bay. I am also currently in the process of obtaining my high school biology teacher certification.
