I'm very proficient in calculus 1 and most of Algebra. As students work their way up to Calculus and further, it is important to understand the process of problem-solving and not focus on the numbers alone. Many sciences can become abstract, I like to relate topics to things students may encounter everyday or already understand in order to get a foundation before complicating topics with smaller detail.
