I have earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Buisness Admin. I dont't really have any experience in tutoring.I have only helped family members in their buisness courses in high school. If given the opportunity my experience will increase and I could grow into a successful tutor I have no teaching experience therefore I have no teaching style. If I were a teacher I would teach the kids the information, have a question session and then review the information in a game type format. I enjoy working with children and always have. I feel my teaching style is more in the Socratic method in that I like to ask them questions until they come to the answer themselves because I feel that increases the retention rate of the subject. Additionally, I like to take the concepts that are being taught and give them real world applications and examples to make the learning more relevant. Throughout high school and college I volunteered at a local summer theater workshop for children. In this program I started out as a teen counselor and moved on to be an adult helper and play director. Also, I worked for a summer as a camp counselor for the Freeport Youth Summer Program where I led children in games and some educational programming.
