French is one of my top subjects! I was born in Paris, and have been moving back and forth between the United States and France all my life. I speak English and French fluently, and am willing to tutor anything from the basics, to language developing skills as well as pronunciation, at any level, from beginners to more proficient speakers. I took an AP class to "validate" my skills but I have no teaching degree. I am currently studying architecture in Boston, and am available for tutoring all summer expect for two weeks in which I will be in France. I am very easy going, I understand how complex the language can get and I have seen many succeed before. I am really attentive to detail which will really help developing a new vocabulary and pronunciation.
I have have had experience with french and English all my life, constantly exposed to both, and am completely fluent in both. My mother is a French teacher professionally, and has taught me some teaching techniques and skills. I have a solid experience working with kids, I worked in a summer camp for a month last year, but I am also completely comfortable teaching college level speakers as well.

My comments on tutoring French : In addition to learning Arabic, I also learned the French language throughout my schooling in Lebanon. I went to a French private school as a child and even continued learning the french language in High school upon my arrival to the United States. I took honors French classes which demonstrate my knowledge and skills in that language. I am no expert in French but I sure can read, write, and speak it very well.

I was originally born in Lebanon and arrived in the United States a decade ago. My first language is Arabic, second is English, and third is French. I still carry with me aspects of my Middle Eastern culture which is highly associated with learning the Arabic language. Living in a diverse and multi-lingual nation, I quickly grasped the French language as a child while attending to a French Catholic school while also speaking it as a second language with friend, family, etc... Given of my long-time residence and education in the United States I became fluent in the English language. I receive my bachelors degree in Political Science and minor Economics in December 2013, and was awarded the Distinction Award for Outstanding Achievement in my academic career at the University of Massachusetts Boston.

I have a B.A. from Smith College, where I was master tutor of the Italian department, and a MA from Middlebury College and the University of Florence in Romance linguistics. I tutored extensively throughout college and graduate school. I have taught Italian and Spanish for a year at public high school, and have just successfully completed my first year of teaching Italian literature at the college level.

A Little Bit About Me...

I emphasize on taking few notes but helpful ones. Speaking and listening is my main focus. Students needs to be able to communicate. Using the vocabulary in real world situations is the key, not just in the context of the chapter of the book. My students are able to use Spanish outside of the classroom and this is the biggest reward a teacher can observe.
