I taught one semester of College Algebra at Illinois State University. I was responsible for 2 sections of lab while I completed graduate credits for a Master's in Mathematics. My B.S. in actuarial science (math) was attained from Bradley University. In most math courses, the problems themselves are not what you have to worry about, but the clock is the real problem. I like to make the students think for themselves because I believe that math and physics is more about the understanding of the concept than remembering the formulas. To get better understanding of the topic, one has to practice and to think on one's own. I give hints when they are stuck.
