My teaching style is based on the belief that I learn just as much from the students as they learn from me. I operate in a role of discover at their wonderment and eagerness. I am firm and structured but do this in a way that warrants respect and self awareness on the part of the student. As a daughter of an elementary education teacher, I have been driven by a passion to teach children in areas where they show need. I am in my second year in Northern Arizona University with junior credits. My major is in Sociology, but I believe that helps me in pin-pointing the most important aspects of helping children individually in different social settings. I have done tutoring before, but never with a school district. I believe that every child has a unique way of learning and I am capable and flexible in showing them the different ways in which they can learn.
