I taught and tutored ESL two years before entering law school. I hae taught college classes as an adjunct and later FT professor at Penn College for 25 years. I currently serve as Career Outreach Coordinator for HACC-Lebanon Campus. I have tutored many students, particularly in areas such as writing essays. Because of my experience in teaching my own children, I have discovered that no child is too young to learn. Often people will not consider an infant or toddler a "functioning human being" until the child can speak. This is so inaccurate! I taught one of my daughters to read at age four.
