Generally I will try to ask questions to see which specific points a student needs assistance with and make sure they understand the material on a fundamental level. I also believe that practice and hands-on experiences teach the most, so there tends to be an emphasis on working through problems step-by-step than lecturing. Ultimately I am flexible, and can change my style and routine to accommodate the students' needs.
While at the University of Tulsa I have tutored in both math and chemistry, so I have experience with those subjects in particular. Though I received a bachelors in Psychology I was also pre-med, so I was required to take several heavy science courses as well. As such I am also proficient in several biological subjects.

Extremely Experienced Teacher of Mathematics and Language.

I have taught over 34 years, mostly in all areas of Mathematics. Geomentry is my greatest strength, however I have also taught Algebra I, Algebra II, Pre-Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Calculus, Speech, Drama, English Grammar, Reading Literature.
