A Little Bit About Me...

I did my associate degree studies in Classical performance. When I completed my undergraduate B.A. I had more of a focus study on Jazz composition. I was a high school vocal music director 7-12 for one year right after I graduated in 2007 to 2008. I have since then been teaching a wide variety of music classes in everything from elementary to upper level theory and aural skills. I have been teaching private lessons on my free time for about 4 years now and I currently have 15 students of my own. I am a young enthusiastic teacher who feels that I have just as much to show my students as I have to learn from the them.

I am cognizant of the many different learning styles of today's youth and endeavor to use each interactive opportunity to the fullest. I firmly believe that a path of service is a key to a greater self esteem, as I give of myself to help students reach their highest good, so often do we find it that students will pay it forward and teach what they most need to learn and learn that which they most need to teach.
