A Little Bit About Me...

I teaching and working with student of all ages. I believe that those that I have tutoredin the past and present learn best though hands on learning. The process by which demonstration problems are correctly worked out and then assists them in completing the problems at hand.
I have always loved numbers and they are my passion. As a student at FMCC I was able to pursue my goal and assist others along the way. I tutored mainly math at FMCC for about 1.5 years while still attending school, but also tutored in a variety of subjects ranging from english to science to business to accounting. I currently am tutoring a friend with an accounting class. I took math, science, and english classes in which I recieved high grades in all.

Having received both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Cornell University and the University of California in the area of physical science (Atmospheric Science), I have attained a high level of knowledge in multiple areas ranging from Math and Science (particularly Physics) as well as Chemistry and Biology. In addition, while at Cornell University I earned a Minor in Communications focusing on both Written and Oral Communication. After graduating from Baruch College, I worked in the inner-city Catholic School of Brooklyn. I taught 8th Grade English and had great success turning non-writers into eager learners. I was also the Math coordinator for grades 5-8. I have tutored college entrants having difficulty with essay writing. Most recently, I taught 5th Grade in a local charter school.
