Teaching is truly a passion for me. I love working with students of all ages. I believe that all students have it in them to succeed academically. As a veteran teacher of thirty years, I have much to offer in the educational setting. I taught language arts in 7th and 8th grade for 21 years and in 2nd and 3rd or 9 years. Through teaching language arts, I have many areas covered to help in tutoring of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and editing papers.
Teaching has been my life. All children learn in different ways and there are many ways of teaching the same concept to get the student to understand. I am friendly, respectful, honest, efficient and determined. I believe that students that are given information that is not always done in the same way in a classroom gives them an advantage. There is not always time to be one-on-one and given strategies that are much simpler to understand and put into writing and realize that it is not a job to write; it can be challenging in a fun manner.
