I made sure the basics are solid first. I feel that anatomy and clear understanding of the body and how it works is pivotal to success in dance. I am all about the details.
I have taught private lessons for a year, while also teaching ballet, modern, and jazz in studios. I also led dance class at a charter school for a year twice a week. Enriching the lives of today’s youth is something very dear to my heart. With the hustle and bustle of our fast-paced world, it gets hard for them to find out who they are, and focus on what they need to be doing. I feel they push their education to the side, because they are forced to become adults too soon. As an avid seeker of lifelong knowledge, I know and value the importance of education and knowledge. My first tutoring job was in the 5th grade. I tutored a 2nd grader in math and English.
