Hello everyone! I am available for tutoring as well as teaching music lessons. I have experience tutoring students who may need more time to process information than is provided in a classroom setting in all subjects, and I'm great when it comes to communicating with kids who are weary from having lessons drilled into them at school. My comments on tutoring Piano : I don't have much experience teaching young children, but I love music and am willing to help any age.

Everyone absorbs knowledge differently so it is important to cater to each student's particular needs. I am a very hands-on learner and I feel that is the best way to be taught, especially outside of a classroom setting. By getting the body involved in the learning process, the mind is kept stimulated.
I have helped tutor since I was a freshman in high school. I began working with kindergarteners through third grade students on reading and writing. Throughout my sophomore year of high school I tutored middle school math students (ages 11-14) and helped to train our "Mathalon" team. My junior and senior years of high school I mostly helped biology students prepare for the regents exams, as well as continued in the after school reading program for kindergarteners and preschoolers. As a graduate of RIT I have worked as a lab technician in both corporate and academic settings. After obtaining my Masters Degree in Secondary Education from LeMoyne College, I taught for Syracuse City schools district for 18 months and Hillside Children's Center for 6 months. I have also taught summer school chemistry for OCM Boces. I have taught Living Environment(Biology), Earth Science, Environmental Science, General Science and Chemistry.
