Finding Your Inner Writer Effortlessly: Starts Here.

I began my college journey as an English major. I decided to switch to Elementary Education to be able to reach future writers before they lost the love for it. I have worked with all ages from toddlers to seniors in high school. I have been published in world wide devotional for women along with a world wide magazine. I have taught writing in schools to children who were struggling as well. Writing is who I am. My passion has been there since I first learned how to write in Kindergarten.
I am direct. I like to help the student find what is inside of them and write it. I am compassionate and challenging. There is an inner writer in all of us and I like to guide and help the student discover their true abilitiy effortlessly.

I am not young enough to know everything

I agree with the concept that each person learns a bit differently, and even more so that as a tutor, I should try and find the most effective style for my tutee. My academic career also taught me the importance of setting time limits for each action item; and switching tasks to keep the mind sharp.
You will see from my resume below that I have strong experience in math, science, engineering and computers. It is worth mentioning that I am also skilled in english (5 on my AP World Lit exam) and art (voted most artistic in my senior high school class). Every student is different, therefore every student has different needs. Every student also can learn differently, whether it be by incorporating more or less visual learning strategies, auditory learning strategies, or using more of the "hands on" approach.
