A Little Bit About Me...
I have extensive experience in academic work, specifically in the areas of math and science. In earning both a BS and MS in Materials Science and Engineering, I not only developed an understanding of mathematical and scientific principles, but I learned how to work and communicate in groups to further common interests. As a graduate student at the University of Washington, I served as a teaching assistant, leading both recitation sections in thermodynamics and teaching basic materials labs, for students both inside and outside of our department.
Each person learns differently. It is a primary responsibility of an instructor to find a method that will resonate and stick with the student to ensure success.
