As the son of two life-long public educators, the importance of a quality education has always a major theme in my life. Upon entering college I choose mathematics as a major due to the proficiency I have always had in the subject. During my studies I realized that I had an innate ability to not only grasp and understand difficult mathematical concepts, but also to explain them to others. If I were to sum my "style" of teaching up, it would be "patience with determination". Perhaps my best achievment is with my wife who recently graduated from A-B Tech. Kate has always had a block toward anything mathematic. She had one course between her and graduation, college algebra! The bottom line here is that I patiently stuck through this course treatment with her to a successful completion, she completed the course and graduated with a well earned "C" or a 78%.
