I didn't get another chance to tutor until my freshman year of college. I volunteered to help a young man who could not take notes for himself. I would then sit with them and encouragement them to complete the next problem on their own. If they got stuck I would give assistance, through asking them questions or trying to help them remember the mathematical steps.
