I have experience with teaching having completed three semesters of internships through my undergraduate and graduate programs; I taught Kindergarten, First and Seventh grades. In said roles, I was given full control of the classroom by my mentoring supervisors. I thoroughly enjoy teaching and impacting young lives (most of these students came from low socio-economic backgrounds and were gravely in need of guidance). My favorite teachers were tough, they pushed me to do my best, and encouraged me to draft, edit, and to have high expectations for myself. Their goals were realistic, and relevant.
