I go through all the concepts with the individual pertaining to what portion of statistics they are studying at that time. I will then walk them through a couple of examples demonstrating how to properly obtain the correct answer. I will follow that up by asking them to do a problem without any direct instruction from me. I will watch them work on the problem to assure they are working on it properly. If any mistakes are made I will politely point them out as the individual is working. Finally, I will ask them to work on problems completely on their own and I will check their answers when they are done. I feel the only way to learn statistics, or any math for that matter, is through repetition and working on a lot of problems.

I am an easy going individual who attempts to make learning fun and relate it to real life examples. With physics and calculus, there are many instances when assignments can be very difficult to comprehend because it's difficult to see how a derivative or integral relates to real life situations. From as long as I can remember I have had a passion for science and the arts which explains why I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology a Masters degree in Art Therapy.
