My comments on tutoring Vocals : Love to sing and enjoy teaching Hindustani classical vocal lessons

I have more than 10yrs of experience in tutoring Chemistry and biology to High school students as well as Undergrad students both in person and online. I earned my Masters degree in Chemistry and did my Ph.D in Medicinal chemistry. Have worked in Academics for nearly 14yrs. I also have experience teaching Hindustani vocal lessons to both adults and kids. A Little Bit About Me...

When I am teaching I am very patient and try to organize the lesson or my assistance in steps. I'll have the child read the problem or question, ask what they know about it, see if they understand the question and proceed. The patient style helps me see what the student's strengths and weaknesses are so I know what they need to practice and focus on. If the child has multiple assignments or tasks I have them perform the more difficult ones first. Starting with the easy assignments may seem like it makes sense but I would prefer that the student have more energy for the tasks they'll have more difficulty with.

I am a recent graduate of the University of North Texas with a degree in Music Education. While at North Texas, I taught middle and high school-aged students the art of music.
