Eventually, I became a trusted part of the school system (an honorary teacher, so to speak). They began giving me more responsibilities, concerning the children of the school. I am currently enrolled in Desoto High School in arcadia florida. I love math and still have time for my CNA training. I am a senior this year. I am currently in a class where i tutor ninth and tenth graders in any subject but i prefer math. Call me a math wizard if you would. I hope to become a part time math tutor someday and a certified nursing assistant and more through life.
I can be strict but I do show empathy and try to put myself in other's situation. I don't judge I believe every child learns in thier own way but with time and patience it can be done. I contact the student to know what subjects they need. I go to their home and meet them and their parents. I agree with them a schedule or they let me know when they need my help. I go to their house the agreed day and check what he/she knows about the subject to study. I assign to them different exercises like a pre-test. Every problem that they make wrong indicates to me that I need to explain that class. I don't go ahead until the student understands completely. I assign to them different exercises in order to see is they improve their knownledges. If the student want, we can study by a chat, when it is neccesary and they can send me the homework to review.
