I have worked for three years as a vascular technician in busy vascular labs, but my undergraduate degree in engineering provided the basis for a deep understanding of ultrasound physics principles. One previous employer took advantage of this by having me teach ultrasound physics classes for a year to prepare uncredentialed techs in the lab for their board exams.
