As students work their way up to Calculus and further, it is important to understand the process of problem-solving and not focus on the numbers alone. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is entirely dependent on who I'm teaching. I try to prod and ask leading questions, while also looking for how it is I can relate the subject matter to the student. I consider it a failure of mine if I am ever forced to recommend a student memorizes something that they ought to understand on a deeper level.
