I first discovered my love of teaching when I was in the Boy Scouts teaching younger scouts skills like building a fire or pitching a tent. In high school, I would tutor my classmates in English, a subject in which I have always excelled. I am most interested in studying history and geography, and I long to share what I have learned. Children have different learning styles and every child doesn't learn at the same rate. Teachers must realize this when planning lessons.
