My comments on tutoring Chess : i have been playing chess all my life. I have been in 4 chess clubs through out elementary, middle, and high school. IN 6th grade, I competed against the whole middle school, and came in first place, landing my name on a plaque still in the school. recently i have not been competing much, just leisurely playing for fun

I have always been a hands on learner, so that is mostly the way i portray my lessons, by doing, instead of readin. However i also see the need in having to sit down and Get to work, because some thing are better learned on paper
i am just a twenty year old college student, Who has learned a lot in this world, and looking to pass it on to whomever it might effect. Very caring, musical, and a great people person. I greatly enjoy finding a way to inspire a child to understand the problem at hand. Through from my experience in grade school and my observation of students that attend tough schools I've realized the monotonous class schedule and disciplinary philosophy of most schools deflates most student's desire to succeed.
