I graduated from high school in 2011 with special honors and as co-valedictorian. I am now attending the University of Mississippi where I am majoring in accountancy and minoring in business. My passion is writing, so naturally that is what I do best. Every year, I am contacted by numerous students from my high school and also my classmates at Ole Miss about proofreading their papers. I have also worked with helping students study for math classes, including but not limited to pre-algebra and algebra. Each semester I was assigned to specific grade levels that allowed me to work with instructors and students. I'm a recent graduate of Rust College. During my years at college I tutored in subjects as biology, basic math, college algebra,English literature, and also was a co-judge for a local junior high science fair. During the summer of 2009, I did my internship with the Ronald E. McNair program at the University of Mississippi. This program focused mainly on research based studies with a chosen graduate professor.
I'm an assertive motivator. Learning should not be repulsive, children love to learn by examples that they can relate to. I find the opportunity to combine the likes and dislikes of the student and mold them into a constructive solution. Using metaphors and similes are more of my specialties. The style is strict, but the concepts are easier. When the task is completed, the student will say I was tough but with a caring aftereffect.

I have just recently graduated with my Masters from Ole Miss. I will begin my PhD in the fall. I have taught Health classes at the University for the past two years. I have much experience in math, science, and english with my past two degrees. I have tutored students in math, english, and science.

Determining the learning styles of individual students is important to me. I adjust and accomodate my approach based on how students respond and learn.
