I have always been an excellent English student, including reading, grammar, spelling, and writing, to name a few. All throughout grades school, I received exceptional grades, especially in language arts and English. I have received awards recognizing my writing, speaking, spelling, and grammar. I take education very seriously and I like to instruct others so they, too, can be all that they can be in life. The teaching style that I use has been my method of learning for the past twenty years. Memorization, creativity, and fun all help people learn better. When the work is boring, the mind shuts down and gets distracted. When learning is turned into fun, it is a lot easier for the student to remember everything that they were taught, because they can correlate that specific moment in time with what was being taught.

I get EXCITED about teaching! I love to implement all different resources to help all different types of learners to fully understand the concept. Being able to move around, hear, write and see the information will allow kiddos to soak up all that information! This might be my first year teaching, but that does not take away from my passion or excitement for teaching! I love kids, I most of all love seeing that “ah ha” moment on their faces! I'm currenty enrolled at OTC using my A+ to get my associates degree before transferring and getting my degree in Secondary Education with an Emphasis on English and Journalism. I took all Honors English classes throughout my junior high and high school years of education. I also have five years of journalism experience, four of those years as an editor for my paper.
