I am a successful graduate of Susquehanna University, having earned a BA in International Studies. This study of cultural anthropology allowed me ample experience with writing, grammar, and research. I will be attending Rutgers University next year to earn a Master of Science degree in Microbiology. I am very experienced in the subjects of Biology, Chemistry, and Math on all levels. Although I have only held my BM in Music Education for a little over a year, I have always sought out opportunities to hone my skills as a teacher. While I was still earning that degree, I was the person many of my peers approached to help them understand music theory when they were stuck. None of them failed their tests after a few extra lessons with me. Since graduating, I have been working at a special education school as a one on one aide, and I am constantly making effort to coax out the musical side of my students, often with positive and exciting results.
