I am not young enough to know everything

I agree with the concept that each person learns a bit differently, and even more so that as a tutor, I should try and find the most effective style for my tutee. My academic career also taught me the importance of setting time limits for each action item; and switching tasks to keep the mind sharp.

I have earned a BS and an MS in Aerospace Engineering. My most recent coursework was focused on Aerospace Propulsion systems- work which relies heavily on my background in Math, Physics, and Chemistry. I have always been a teacher at heart. During my high school years I would volunteer to help children through various charities and church. When I attended college I became an Early Childhood Education major and volunteered in preschool and elementary schools. During my Student Teaching in Des Plaines I was in complete control of a Kindergarten classroom and later a 2nd Grade class.
